Student Leadership

1 Timothy 4:8
” For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come. ”

Being a leader takes courage, discipline, and determination. While a great leader can bring great success, it also comes at the cost of being judged and overwhelmed. The Bible speaks of so many wonderful leaders and how God blessed them for their work. There are many verses and Scriptures that God spoke to encourage men and women who choose to step up and lead.

At Mountain Christian School we believe that we should train the current generation to be leaders to the generations to come.

This year, we are sending our high school students to another Leadership conference in Vancouver. The ACSI Student Activities Program seeks to encourage and inspire students toward a standard of excellence in leadership, communication, and performance by enhancing the academic and fine arts education program of the Christian school. It provides opportunity for the practical application and development of skills necessary for confident Christian leadership. Each activity is planned to impact the educational and spiritual growth of each student, encouraging them to be a testimony to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Each event also seeks to provide opportunity for Christian fellowship and positive interaction between students and teachers of participating schools.

Our students will also be touring three University campuses to get exposure to Post-Secondary education and will also experience some outdoor education whilst visiting the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park.
